Ophthalmologist: When is his visit mandatory for drivers?

Motorists must make sure to look every 10 years, in order to avoid car accidents, according to English ophthalmologists.

As you age, one's sensory and motor skills decline, and people over the age of 75 are most likely to die from car accidents, second only to young drivers.
While the regulations in each of the Arab countries differ in terms of license renewal, medical examinations in Britain, like the vast majority of European countries, are mandatory every 3 years for drivers over the age of 70. But according to British ophthalmologists, this visit should be doubled and take a date with the eye specialist to examine the eyes.

Look gradually back down with age
Says Dr. Jolie Ann-Little, a member of the National Council of Ophthalmologists in Great Britain: "The problems start to look gradually, and often the person does not realize that his gaze has deteriorated over time."
Last year, seven people were killed and more than 63 people were seriously injured in road accidents, the reason being "blurred vision and lack of attention problems," according to data from the British Ministry of Transport.

Take a look at it, make it a yearly check to make sure it's safe, to ensure your personal protection and protect your family while you're on the go.
